CAMPAIGNS, EMAIL AND PROMOTIONS
Campaigns, email and promotions with a clear reason to book.
Good campaigns connect a useful offer with the right people at the right time. We help booking based businesses plan promotions, write the messages and use email and other channels to carry the idea through to an enquiry or booking.
Based in Port Douglas. Working with booking based businesses across Australia.
ONE CONNECTED CAMPAIGN
- 01A useful offer
- 02The right audience
- 03Consistent messages
- 04A simple booking path
BEFORE THE CONTENT
Make sure the offer is worth promoting.
A promotion can bring attention to an offer, but it cannot make a weak offer strong. We look at customer demand, capacity, timing and the value of a booking before deciding what to say and where to say it.
A promotion does not always need a discount. It could give people a reason to book earlier, highlight an experience they have overlooked or make the value of a service easier to understand. The best angle depends on what the business can deliver profitably.
THREE QUESTIONS FIRST
What would make this campaign worthwhile?
Demand
Is there a real customer need or a useful reason to act now?
Capacity
Can the business deliver if the campaign brings more bookings?
Margin
Will the offer still make commercial sense after delivery and marketing costs?
WHAT WE CAN HELP WITH
Turn the plan into the pieces customers see.
We agree the work around the goal, audience and time available, rather than starting with a fixed list of channels.
Campaign strategy
Choose the offer, audience, timing, channels and booking goal.
Promotional messaging
Write a clear reason to respond that fits the business and its customers.
Email marketing
Plan and write useful emails for past customers, warm leads or an opted-in list.
Landing pages
Make the offer and next step clear on the page people reach from the campaign.
Supporting content
Prepare website, social and other messages that work together.
Follow-up and review
Plan what happens after a click, enquiry or booking, and review the response.
WHERE EMAIL FITS
Stay in touch with people who already know you.
Email marketing gives you a direct way to speak to past customers and people who have asked to hear from you. It can support a campaign, but it also has its own job between promotions: being useful enough that people are glad to hear from the business.
We can help with the email plan, audience groups, subject lines, copy, templates and simple follow-up. We keep the message relevant to the relationship rather than sending the same promotion to everyone.
Before booking
Answer common questions and help an interested person take the next step.
Before arrival or appointment
Share practical information that improves the customer experience.
After the experience
Follow up thoughtfully and make it easy to stay connected or return.
At the right time
Use a relevant seasonal or repeat-booking message when there is a real reason to send one.
HOW LOCAL LAB DIGITAL WORKS
Plan the campaign. Make the pieces. Learn from the response.
Decide the job
We work out what bookings or enquiries the campaign should support and which audience and offer make sense.
Build the campaign
We write and coordinate the agreed emails, page copy, content and follow-up. A specialist can handle paid ad setup or management where needed.
Review what happened
We look at useful signals such as enquiries, bookings and response quality, then note what to keep or change next time.
WHO THIS IS FOR
Booking based businesses with a reason to speak to customers.
Campaigns and email are useful when the business has an offer worth explaining, capacity to fill, a new service to introduce or existing customers it wants to stay connected with. We work with businesses across Australia, from Port Douglas.
REALISTIC USE CASES
Campaigns with a specific job to do.
Fill a quieter booking period with an offer that protects value and reaches past guests who enjoyed the property.
Introduce a new experience with clear suitability details, a useful landing page and a short email sequence.
Let existing customers know about a new service and make the appointment process simple.
Plan a seasonal promotion around a genuine customer need, with a clear enquiry path and timely follow-up.
SPECIALIST SUPPORT
One campaign direction, the right delivery skills.
Local Lab Digital handles campaign thinking, offers, messaging, writing, practical email work and coordination. When a campaign needs specialist Google Ads or Meta Ads setup and management, design, photography, video or complex CRM integration, we can brief trusted specialists. We agree that scope separately and keep the work connected to the campaign plan.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Campaign and email questions
Do we need to offer a discount for a promotion to work?
No. A useful promotion might explain added value, a timely need, limited availability or a new service. We check that the offer makes commercial sense before recommending a discount.
Can you write our campaign emails?
Yes. We can plan and write campaign emails, welcome and follow-up messages, and useful content for an existing permission-based list. The number of emails and any platform setup are agreed in the project scope.
What if our email list is small?
A small list of past customers or interested people can still be useful if the messages are relevant. We would not recommend buying a list or sending emails without a clear reason.
Do you run Google Ads or Meta Ads for campaigns?
We can shape the campaign strategy, offer, message and landing page, then coordinate a trusted advertising specialist for specialist setup and management where paid ads are appropriate.
Can a campaign be planned in one Marketing Done Day?
A Done Day gives us six focused hours for agreed priorities. That may cover campaign planning and key copy, depending on the scope. Larger campaigns, production and specialist work need more time and are agreed separately.
Can you help with email marketing beyond one campaign?
Yes. Ongoing Marketing Support can include email planning, writing and campaign coordination when those are agreed priorities. We can also scope a focused one-off email project.
