Local Lab Digital is a marketing business run by Sasha Mason (ABN 14 664 547 605), based in Port Douglas, Queensland. This policy explains what personal information we collect through locallabdigital.com.au, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

We only collect information you choose to give us, plus some basic data about how the website is used. That includes:

Contact form: your first name, last name, email address and the message you send.
Email sign-ups: your name, email address and the topics you tell us you are interested in when you sign up for a guide, playbook or our emails.
Booking a call: your name, email address and any details you add when you book a time through our booking calendar.
Emails and phone calls: anything you send us directly.
Website usage: information such as pages visited, time on site, device and browser type, approximate location and how you found us. This is collected through cookies and does not identify you by name.

Why we collect it

To reply to your enquiry and talk with you about your business.
To book and run calls and meetings with you.
To send you the resources you asked for and, if you signed up, our marketing emails.
To deliver work for you if you become a client.
To understand how people use the website so we can improve it.

We will not sell, rent or trade your personal information.

Tools we use

We use trusted third-party services to run the website and our business. They handle your information on our behalf:

Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to measure website traffic.
Google reCAPTCHA to protect our forms from spam.
MailerLite to manage our email list and send emails.
Calendly to manage call bookings.
Our website host and email provider to store website data and deliver form submissions to our inbox.

Some of these providers store data outside Australia, including in the United States and the European Union. We choose providers with strong security and privacy practices, but by using our website and services you understand your information may be stored overseas.

Cookies

Our website uses cookies, mainly for Google Analytics and for our forms and booking calendar to work properly. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The website will still work, though some features such as forms and booking may not.

Marketing emails

If you sign up for our emails, we will send you marketing tips, resources and occasional offers. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time. We follow the Spam Act 2003 (Cth).
